Tasting Notes: The structure of this Petite Sirah has plenty of muscle, depth and length. On the palate wild herbs integrate with robust dark fruit that translates to a rich and complex wine. Spice characteristics and finely textured tannins show off a highly structured body that concludes in a polished, lasting finish. This is a great wine to stick in the cellar. Drink now through 2021.

Vinification: Strict tannin management is a must with Petite Sirah. The grapes were cold soaked prior to fermentation and spent around 12 days on the skins. The grapes were lightly pressed to maintain a delicate balance between flavors, color and tannins. The wine spent 18 months in 30% new French oak.
